Biotechnology Laboratory

The biotechnology laboratory was initially used to provide laboratory internships for students of the Faculties 09 (Biotechnology & Environmental Management course) and 06 (Bioengineering course). The laboratory is also available for use by students who want to use the laboratory equipment during internships and for thesis and project work.
Externally funded projects can also be carried out using third-party funds.

Expertise and laboratory equipment are particularly available for the molecular genetic identification of microorganisms (prokaryotic and eukaryotic). The first project in this field will be the molecular genetic identification and characterisation of bacteria in pharmaceutical quality controls.
